The first thing that struck me when I arrived in Lyon 12 years ago was the atmosphere of the city. It has the perfect weather; hot in summer, sunny in spring, colored in autumn, and cold but chilly in winter. It also has the perfect location for those who want to ski just for the weekend and those who want to go to the beach the next one. Lyon is a beautiful city which offers a lot to do any time. You can rent a bike for a day and explore the Parc de la Tête D’Or (and maybe find the golden head hidden on its island !). You can also have a drink on the many terraces of the city. You probably all know that Lyon is also known for its status as the capital of gastronomy and lucky for you we have a lot of « bouchons » to make you discover! And don’t you dare make the joke about the morning traffic jam, we all know the feeling !
The bouchons in Lyon are those little cute restaurants where you can enjoy the variety of Lyon’s cuisine such as liver cake and pork brain… Hmm yummy! I know it does not sound so good, but you have to taste it to judge it. Lyon, for me, is a secret city because even if you live here for many years, there is always something new to discover or maybe to re-discover! And don’t you worry, we are here to guide you and make you discover the best of the best!
